Swampus Recycled Glass Skulls

Krewe of Krampus and Glass Half Full are teaming up again to bring you another fun way to turn your recycled glass into art!

As part of the Swampus Returns Scavenger Hunt, there are two very special Swampus Skulls being created for this unique hunt. The skulls will be made using recycled glass from Glass Half Full in a couple different ways, but both very creative.

How to Play – October 18 – 28

To play all you need to do is to bring your used glass to any of the residential Glass Half Full drop off locations to recycle. Then take a photo that you can post to social media. Be sure to tag both @kreweofkrampus and @glasshalffull.nola plus use #swampusglassskull in your post. That’s all!

Our team will be looking for all the posts, especially the creative ones, to select two lucky winners for each of the special edition skulls.

The following locations will have drop offs during the contest window. Glass Half Full drop-off hub, Elysian Fields Recycling Center, Beanlandia, Algiers Regional Library or various locations in the Lower Ninth Ward. Krewe of Krampus is excited to be teaming up with Gris-Gris to Go Go on a Swampus Skull content with a delicious twist.

As part of the Swampus Returns Scavenger Hunt, there are two very special Swampus Skulls being created as prizes for this appetizing hunt. At the same time Chef Hayley at Gris-Gris to Go Go will be creating a Swampus version of her savory puff pastry skulls using Smoked Boudin with Pepper Jack cheese!

How to Play – October 18 – 22

To play all you need to do is stop in Gris-Gris to Go Go and order a “Swampus Skull” puff pastry from Oct. 18th through the 22nd. Then take a photo that you can post to social media. Be sure to tag both @kreweofkrampus and @grisgrisnola plus use #swampuspastry and #GGtoGoGo in your post to be entered. That’s all, now just enjoy your Swampus Skull Pastry!

Swampus @ Boo Carré Photo Booth

Boo Carre Halloween Haunt

Get your photo with Swampus @ Boo Carré

Krewe of Krampus will be the guests of The French Market District at their annual Boo Carre Halloween Haunt in Dutch Alley on Saturday, October 21 from 10am-4pm.

The one-day kid-centric event encourages costumes for all ages and will feature live music, children’s activities, a spooktacular Spooky Second Line, and trick-or-treating. Children wearing a costume are eligible to receive a free Boo Carre tote bag for trick-or-treating in the French Market District. One bag per child, while supplies last. This event is free and open to the public.

Photos with Swampus – October 21, 10am-4pm

We will have some of your favorite Swampus Returns characters set up for you to get your Halloween photos with, including Swampus himself. We will also have treats for those stopping by our Krewe of Krampus tent in your costume to say hello.
